Celtic music from the late 1700s to early 1800s, with a skirl of sound — the sing of a string, pipe of a horn and thump of a drum, “Basically, it’s dance tunes,” said Marianne Bernhard, who plays recorder in the group. “It’s happy music.”
The Celtic Circle is the brainchild of Christal Prout, who organized and has led the group for the past four years.
