The gagaku repertoire preserves musical modes no longer extant in their countries of origin along the Silk Road in Central Asia,Tibet and China.

The concert will conclude with a world premiere of Koyomi (Almanac)
by Composer and Columbia Doctor of Musical Arts (2006) Hiroya
