Celeste Mokrzycki, SSJ Presents Watercolor Exhibit at Chestnut Hill College January 28, 2010

Artist and Chestnut Hill College alumna Celeste Mokrzycki, SSJ will present a watercolor exhibit, “Light from Above” from Thursday, January 28, 2010 through February 28, 2010 in Dwight V. Dowley Gallery, 5th Floor, St. Joseph Hall at Chestnut Hill College. Sister Celeste’s paintings emphasize the movement of light and color to remind us of the ever present light of God in our lives. Her love of nature and creation is reflected in the subjects that she paints: landscapes, seascapes, and figures. Through her art, she invites us to enter into quiet moments to reflect upon the beauty of creation and the imagination of the creator. For her, painting is an act of worship to the divine artist. The art exhibit is free and open to the public.
