The Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks is hosting a Celebrity Golf Tournament. Twenty-six celebrities have promised to play among the foursomes, including former Olympic gold medalists Bob Seagren, Mitch Gaylord and Al Joyner, Alan Thicke, Kermit Alexander, Pat Boone and Chad Everett.
Cost is $225 per golfer and includes participation in a putting contest, long drives, closest to the pin and one million dollars for a hole in one on the applicable hole. An awards banquet is planned and includes a live and silent auction and raffle prizes. Proceeds benefit The Community Conscience of Thousand Oaks, a group that assists Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services, and Conejo Youth Employment among other charitable organizations.
