To celebrate Historic Garden Week, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will have extended hours on Thursday, April 22 til 9 p.m.
•Historic Bloemendaal House open for viewing (til 8 p.m.)
•Virginia wine tastings in the Bloemendaal House (6 – 8 p.m. for those 21+ years with photo ID and a purchased wine ticket)
•Knowledgeable garden hosts highlighting “very Virginia” plants (til 8 p.m.)
•Musical entertainment
•Extended hours in Garden Café (5 – 7 p.m.) and Garden Shop (open til 7 p.m.)
Guest can also enjoy the Glorious Glass in the Garden exhibit with glass sculptures by world-famous artist Hans Godo Frabel. These are featured in the Conservatory and throughout the Garden.
