On Sunday, May 1, Esperanza Community Services will host Celebrating Victories, a benefit to support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The 2011 Bobby Reyes Tribute Award will be presented to Kevin Hitzeman and Mary Dempsey, and to the McDonald’s Hispanic Employee Business Network, in honor of their commitment to the mission of Esperanza Community Services.
Dinner will be created by chefs Michael G. Lachowicz, owner of Michael, Joel Nickson, owner of Wishbone Restaurants, and Jackie Shen of Chicago Cut Steakhouse, and dessert will be prepared by the French Pastry School.
Ginger Zee, NBC 5 Meteorologist, will be the MC for the evening.
The event will feature a live and silent auction, entertainment, and a gallery of participant-made art available for purchase.
Tickets to the event, which begins at 5:00 pm at Esperanza Community Services, 520 N. Marshfield Ave. in Chicago, are $95.
