Celebrating Stories September 18, 2008

Join AgeOptions for our major charity event as we unveil a “refreshed” signature gala – Celebrating Stories. This high-profile reception will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 6-9 pm in the lovely Winter Garden at the Harold Washington Library downtown. A unique, architecturally-distinct venue, the Winter Garden will serve as an elegant backdrop for the evening, which will honor the diverse stories of caregivers and the older adults they support. Guests will enjoy exciting live and silent auctions, fabulous food, and many opportunities for networking between our over 300 attendees. All proceeds will support our work to increase services, benefits and programs for vulnerable older adults. Elizabeth Berg, celebrated author of five national bestsellers, including an Oprah bookclub selection in 2000, will be the keynote speaker and sign books.
