Celebrating Inspirational Women and Mothers! A Benefit for Room to Grow May 7, 2012

Join event co-chairs Carol Beggy and Linda Holliday to celebrate inspirational women and mothers at a breakfast to benefit Room to Grow on May 7, at 8 a.m. at the Four Seasons. All guests will receive a copy of the book Boston, Inspirational Women, by father and daughter photographers Bill Brett and Kerry Brett. Some of the women featured in the book will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Mary Richardson. Sharing their stories will be Improper Bostonian publisher Wendy Semonian Eppich, Joanne Jaxtimer of BNY Mellon, Trish Karter, owner of Dancing Deer Baking Co., Harriet Lewis from Grand Circle Corporation and Mary Reed, President of the Bessie Tartt Wilson Initiative for Children. There will be a book signing by the authors following the breakfast. Plus, learn about Room to Grow, a nonprofit organization that provides parents raising babies in poverty with one-on-one parenting support and essential baby items during their children’s critical first three years of development.
