Celebrating God and Country June 30, 2007

Pure Fun Life Conferences, Inc. is presenting a Summer Festival entitled, “Celebrating God and Country”, at Boondocks Farms ( Knightstown , IN ) on June 30. The festival will begin at 12:00 P.M. with music by various groups playing and singing throughout the afternoon and the family-oriented activities of Boondocks Farms – wagon rides, disc golf, hiking, etc.
The main event of the festival is an evening concert of gospel and patriotic music by Ken Johnson , Indianapolis Colts Chaplain, Ben Utecht , Colts Tight End, and other musicians .
A special feature of the festival will be the presence of our armed forces. The Marines are bringing a Color Guard, Humvee, and obstacle course; the Army is planning to bring a special Humvee and a rock climbing wall; and the Navy and National Guard will be present with various assets. At this time we are working with the Air Force and Coast Guard and hope to have them at the festival as well.
During the evening concert the American flag, the POW/MIA flag, and the Blue Star “Support Our Troops” flag will be flown in by skydivers. This will initiate a 30 minute tribute to our armed forces with special music and an address by a military officer with all uniformed military present on the platform. During this time we will pay special tribute to our wounded warriors.
A big fireworks display will begin at 9:45 P.M. with the concert concluding the evening at 10:30 P.M.
Net proceeds of the festival will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) and the school programs of Pure Fun Life Conferences, Inc.
