Celebrating Alton! November 13, 2010

Saturday 13 November from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Alton Assembly Rooms.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Alton Society and the group is having a one-off, one-day general celebration of life in the town, with 51 groups and organisations promoting themselves, a programme of singers and dancers, a specially compiled video, and numerous poems, pictures and stories from local people expressing positive thoughts about the town.

All we need now is a really good attendence and we will have something unique. Lots of people have put in a huge amount of preparation. It is not going to happen again!
