Four-year-old Alexis recently had a life-saving Kidney transplant. Alexis lives in Appleton and has been diagnosed with renal hypoplasia. Doctors at Children’s Hospital recommended a life-saving Kidney transplant. An estimated $30,000.00 is being raised by Appleton-area volunteers to help with transplant-related expenses.
Alexis’s family is working with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to organize volunteers needed to help this miracle unfold. COTA is a national charity based in Bloomington, Indiana, dedicated to organizing communities in raising funds for transplant-needy patients. 100% of all funds raised are used for transplant-related expenses. Find out more about COTA at www.cota.org.
