The Gratitude Power Foundation is hosting a Summer Solstice celebration featuring the South African pop band ZULU SPEAR.
Zulu Spear was a pioneer and leader in the Bay Area's world beat scene of the '80s, a movement that quickly spread across the country. A band of African and American musicians combined South African rhythms and songs with American rock and blues, using electric guitars and drums, resulting in South African pop music.
Also on the line up is special guest Joseph Jacques on piano.
Gratitude Power invites the community to come out and dance in gratitude to the rhythms and magic of Zulu Spear as we honor the arrival of summer. Lots of fun for the entire family.
$15.00 in advance - $20 at the door - Children under 15 Free.
