Celebrate the SF and NY Giants! November 9, 2010

In honor of the San Francisco Giants' first world championship since 1954 -- when they played in New York -- authors Dan Fost and Steve Steinberg will speak to the New York Baseball Giants Nostalgia Society. Dan is the author of "Giants Past and Present," published this year by MVP Books, covering the team from its earliest days in New York, through the years at the Polo Grounds and the move to San Francisco. Steve is the co-author, with Lyle Spatz, of "1921, The Yankees, the Giants, and the Battle for Baseball Supremacy in New York," published by the University of Nebraska Press earlier this year.
