Celebrate the new celebrity sandwich at Big Bottom Market November 11, 2011

Big Bottom Market, a unique gourmet food, wine and general store located at 16228 Main St. in Guerneville, CA, announced that the next celebrity sandwich is to be introduced, with much fanfare on November 11, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Market. The new sandwich, which was inspired by Donna Sachet, one of the Bay Area's most popular live singers and tireless fundraisers and has been affectionately named 'The Sachet All Day' in honor of Donna's swift movement across almost any stage.

The Sachet All Day is a mouthwatering combination of herb-roasted turkey, house-made aioli, cranberry orange relish and triple creme brie on toasted brioche. Thanksgiving-themed, the sandwich is also served with a tasty pickle from Alexander Valley Gourmet.

This month's celebrity sandwich is being paired Bjornstad Cellars 2007 Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley ($45/btl). The Ritchie Vineyard consistently produces distinctive Chardonnays, known for their richness and tropical fruit flavors. "This wine is rich and viscous and balanced with an elegant acidity," said winemaker Greg Bjornstad. "The flavor of oak is present and supports the complex of aroma and flavors components. The fruit, rich cream and mineral flavors follow onto the palate beautifully, providing even greater depth to the overall wine."

'Sachet All Day' will be introduced on November 11th at the Big Bottom Market at 6:00 PM. Donna Sachet and her crew will be present to sample the sandwich at the Market. Greg Bjornstad will also be pouring that evening.
