Santa Fe icon, Paolo Soleri, will speak about his work of “arcology”: architecture coherent with ecology. Soleri, who will be celebrating his 90th birthday in June, is the designer for Santa Fe’s famous Paolo Soleri Amphitheater. He is also the founder and designer of Arcosanti-a 5000 person experimental town under construction in central Arizona designed to be an alternative to urban sprawl.

The Celebration is also happy to present food activist, John Robbins, the bestselling author of Diet for a New America, The Food Revolution and Healthy at 100. Robbins, the only son of the Baskin-Robbins ice cream fortune, walked away from the family business to seek the deeper "American Dream" of wellness and sustainability. He will be speaking about healthy and socially responsible eating.

Special guest, Amory Lovins, Chairman and Chief Scientist of the Rocky Mountain Institute, and author and co-author of many books on renewable energy and energy efficiency, has been praised by Newsweek magazine as “one of the Western world’s top energy thinkers”. His books include Winning the Oil Endgame, Factor Four, and Natural Capitalism.

America's #1 Populist Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of Swim Against the Current-Even a Dead Fish Can Go With the Flow and the NY Times Bestseller Thieves in High Places will engage with his fiery and funny presentation.

Other featured speakers include transformational expert, Niurka, whose high-energy presentation will unite hearts and minds to create peace and prosperity. The audience will be inspired into action by Aqeela Sherrills, peacemaker, community organizer, co-founder of The Forgiveness Project and The Community Self-Determination Institute. Aqeela may be best know for brokering a peace treaty between rival Los Angeles gangs, the Bloods and the Crips.

The Opening Ceremonies will be conducted by the founding director of HAMAATSA, Larry Littlebird. A Pueblo Indian, Larry has worked extensively over the last 35 years as a corporate trainer, executive coach and executive director, education specialist and national speaker. Camilla Bustamante, Director of the Environmental Science Degree Programs at Northern New Mexico College will open up the day on Sunday. The organic progressive, hip-hop reggae music with RUBIXZU and the soulful sounds of Paul Rivers Bailey, will keep the energy moving in the middle of each day.
