Celebrate Midnight Release of The Beatles: Rock Band at Tampa Blockbuster September 8, 2009

The Blockbuster store at 9309 N. 56th St., in Temple Terrace, celebrates the midnight release of The Beatles: Rock Band on Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 8 pm – midnight with a party featuring a live performance by a Beatles cover band, WMTX and WFLZ radio stations on site and giveaways of Rock Band software, game bundles and guitars. The event is free and open to the public.
The newest game in the best-selling Rock Band interactive series, The Beatles: Rock Band, will be released on 9/9/09 and will be available for rent or purchase at participating Tampa area Blockbuster stores.
A live Beatles cover band, The Beatles Experience by Live and Let Die will play from 9 pm to 11 pm. Radio stations WMTX Mix 100.7 and WFLZ 93.3 will be on site from 8 pm – midnight with games and prizes.
At 10 pm, a pre-release game demo will give customers a chance to try the game before its official midnight release.
