This Fourth of July, celebrate 233 years of independence at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Pay homage to the bald eagle, the American flag and everything that makes the United States the land of the free and the home of the brave. A variety of hands-on activities will entertain children on this historical day.
Join the drum line, wave a flag and march through Kidtropolis, USA to the courtyard, where the Pledge of Allegiance will be recited and the National Anthem sung. The parade will end with an explosion of soda geysers. The Lone Star Steppers drum corps will lead the kids-only parade.
The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The parade will take place at 2 p.m. Admission is $7 per person or $6 for seniors 65 and older. Children less than one year old and museum members receive free admission.
