Celebrate Bastille Day at Left Bank Brasserie / 3 Bay Area locations July 14, 2011

On Bastille Day, Thursday, July 14, the 3 Bay Area Left Bank Brasseries (Larkspur, San Jose, Menlo Park) are celebrating Bastille Day, Thursday, July 14, by offering a la carte menu specials, an accordion player serenading guests, staff dressed up in traditional French garb, and festive decorations.

In Larkspur, guests can enjoy Salade de Morteau Aux Pistaches, Pommes de Terre , Frisée et Vinaigrette a la Ciboulette (pistachio and garlic sausage salad with yukon gold potatoes, frisee, chives dressing/$8.95); La Bouillabaisse de la Rive Gauche (Provençale fish stew with snapper, mussels, clams, prawns, rouille/$23.95); and Crème Brûlée au Citron, Salade De Fraises a la Menthe (lemon crème brûlée, minted strawberries salad).

San Jose will offer Salade de Morteau (house made smoked pistachio morteau sausage, pea sprouts, fingerling potatoes roasted tomato vinaigrette/$9.50); Rilette de Saumon Fumée (Loch Duart salmon and smoked salmon rilette with a tarragon crème fraiche and toasted bread/$10.50; Risotto aux Noix de Coquilles Saint Jacques (day boat scallop risotto with grilled sweet corn and pea sprouts/$21.00); Canard à la Vanille (vanilla and brandy roasted duck breast, sweet corn potato croquette, goat cheese tomato Provençale/$25.50); and Fraisier (vanilla sponge cake, pastry cream, strawberries and crème chantilly/$7.50).

Featured in Menlo Park will be Caille Fumée, Girolle et Salade Piquante au Vinaigre de Banyul (house smoked stuffed quail, chanterelle mushrooms, California peppercress mizuna salad, banyuls vinaigrette/$12.75); Entrecote, Flan a La Moelle Façons Chef Roland Passot (a 10 oz. Angus rib eye, bone marrow flan, artichoke, potato gratin, foie gras sauce/$28.50); and Le Fameux Clafoutis a La Fraise a La Parisienne (strawberry tart clafouti, fleur de sel caramel ice cream/$6.75).
