Celebrate Astronomy Day by viewing the far reaches of the galaxy at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan, on Saturday, October 27th from 7:00PM – 9:30PM.
Guests are invited to join astronomers from the Rockland Astronomy Club and get an up-close view of the stars, planets and constellations through 8 different telescopes, as well as explore constellation names, mythology and the history of the cosmos through multimedia presentations. Coffee, tea and cider will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
