Freeport, IL – Returning to Lindo Theatre is everyone’s favorite BOO-tiful Halloween celebration! Slated for Saturday, October 27th, this year will feature a screening of the family-friendly film “How To Train Your Dragon” (PG) beginning at 10 AM with only $1 admission per person. The film will be presented using Lindo’s new state of the art digital projection and sound technology. This ever popular Halloween event is co-sponsored by the Journal Standard and Kickin’ Country 92.1 FM. After the film, kids of all ages are welcome to trick-or-treat at selected downtown area merchants so don’t forget to wear your favorite Halloween costumes! The Lindo Theatre is located at 115 South Chicago Avenue.
The 2011 animated film “How To Train Your Dragon” tells the story of a hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons, and after becoming the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, he learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.
“This annual event with a family-friendly movie is a wonderful time for families to share the holiday with friends and neighbors,” says Chris Johnson, vice president of Classic Cinemas.
