CD Release Concert Celebration March 27, 2011

March 27, 2011, 7 pm

The Bay Brass celebrates the release of their newest CD "Sound the Bells! American Premieres for Brass" with a performance that will include music from the album at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The program will feature music by John Williams, Michael Tilson Thomas, a Bay Brass commission by Bruce Broughton (who will conduct his work at the concert), Morten Lauridsen, Kevin Puts, and Scott Hiltzik. The new disc was released in hybrid SACD format on the Harmonia Mundi label on March 8, 2011.
