Casting Call For New Reality Show Pilot February 5, 2011

If you’re a fan of the Jersey Shore but always wished there was a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender “Situation” going on, you're about to hit the jackpot in Atlantic City.
Under the Boardwalk Productions is holding an open casting call for the GLBT community Saturday Feb. 5 for a new reality show pilot. The tryout will be held at Club In or Out in Hammonton, N.J.
A source from the production company says the new show will be similar to the Jersey Shore but with a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender cast.
The pilot for Under the Boardwalk (the show's title for now) will be shot this spring and if the show is picked up then cast members will live in a beach house in Atlantic City, Ventnor or Margate for the summer.
“I think it will be fascinating,” said producer Kim Friedman.
As for the tryout, don’t worry about memorizing lines. This is “reality.”
The tryout requires no line reading. All these casting directors need is a video-taped interview to figure out whether or not you're the next Snooki, Paulie D or Situation
