Cast Paper Vessels with Rikki Mitman July 7, 2010

Instructor Rikki Mitman will lead you through the creation of several cast paper vessels, from pulp to finished work. You will learn to select a usable mold, prepare the mold, cast the pulp on the mold, remove the vessel from the mold, and paint the vessel to a stunning finish.
You will also learn to make small cast paper elements to use as decorative embossings (or random texture) on your vessels.These techniques are simple and the results are quite sophisticated. All molds and materials are supplied. You may bring additional molds, paints, and other art materials, if you wish, with prior approval from the instructor.
