Minnesotan Casey Driessen grew up learning to play a cardboard fiddle with help of his father, who played the banjo and pedal steel guitar. He soon graduated to a real fiddle and started a bright future at the Berklee College of Music, where he formed his unique blend of modern and alternative bluegrass. After graduation, Casey moved to Nashville, TN, and has spent the last decade in studios, on stages, and traveling around the world with artists.
