Like the Depression-era Tramp Artists who created unique works of art from found and cast-off objects, musician, songwriter, Casey Abrams crafts inspired, uncategorizable songs from a hundred years-worth of records, books and various what-have-yous found in dusty attics and roadside shops. His sophisticated songs have their roots in Americana, jazz, and the classic singer-songwriter tradition. The idiosyncratic performer is known for infusing ragtime, folk, country blues fingerpicking and jazz chops into a repertoire that ranges from Fats Waller to ELO, and from Stephen Foster to Todd Rundgren.
