Caryn Feeney, whose inspiration comes from nature, in particular from four-legged, finned, and feathered companions, will present new works this month. Feeney is best known for her meticulous style of realism, but, being a long-time watercolorist, she also enjoys painting loose and fast, taking satisfaction in seeing how pigment responds to water and contributes spontaneously to the design of the painting. This collection of paintings, for the most part, demonstrates Feeney's looser approach to painting while still rendering her subjects realistically.
