Carson Comedy Festival Auditions January 20, 2009

The Clubhouse is proud to present the first annual Carson Comedy Festival Auditions in its Main Room on the fifth floor. Nine comedians will audition for the inaugural festival, which is produced by Eddie Brill, the talent coordinator for the Late Show with David Letterman, and will take place in Johnny Carson's hometown of Norfolk, Nebraska from Jun 17-22. Proclaimed as The Great American Comedy Festival, the six-day event will include workshops and an amateur comedy contest, in which the winner will receive a grand prize of $5,000. Veteran comedian-actor Robert Klein will host and headline the gala event June 21 at the Johnny Carson Theatre.
