CarolFest is a celebration of Carol Williams, a loving wife, mother and upstanding member of the Roanoke community. Carol has worked for Festival in the Park (now EventZone) for over 20 years and has served as the primary face behind the scenes of Downtown Roanokeā€™s events for two decades. Last November, Carol suffered a severe stroke which has left her with paralysis on her right side and unable to speak. The CarolFest Benefit Concert will be a major fundraiser to help the Williams family with overwhelming medical expenses. The CarolFest Benefit Concert will feature food, beverage, and entertainment by local bands including The Fat Daddy Band, Polychrome, Frantic Recovery, Shorefire, Dirt Road Travelers, Scratch Gravel Road, and Maine & Friends. Back-up weather location (and after-party) is Awful Arthurs Towers. For more information visit www.CarolFest.org.
