Presentation at 11:30 am & 1 pm, drop in anytime for activities.
Did you know we have native carnivorous plants in California; like the Cobra Lily? Insect-eating plants grow all over the world, including several in California.
Get up-close and personal with some local and exotic bug-eating plants. See hands-on demonstrations on caring for a number of easy-to-grow carnivorous plants, and view a presentation on the wide variety in existence.
Learn where to find them, how to grow and care for them and how to pot and divide them. Some carnivorous plants will be available as prizes and to purchase!
Keith Smith, Past President of the Sacramento Bromeliad & Carnivorous Plant Society will answer your questions and present pictures of carnivorous plants.
Takes place rain or shine!
