Experience three ring’s worth of midway mayhem, sideshow shenanigans, and big top tomfoolery at the Maryland Science Center’s annual Carnival Science Days on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, 2011 from noon to 4:00 p.m.
The nationally-renown Dancing Mad Scientist will leave Maryland Science Center guests stupefied with his scientific sport and kinetic chemistry concoctions. The Dancing Mad Scientist has performed his “So You Think You Can Do Science” show on America’s Got Talent, and will delight his Baltimore viewers with audience participation, upbeat music, occasional jaw-dropping dance moves, and chemistry.
Visitors at Carnival Science Day will learn how to ride a tiny clown bike, juggle, and even walk across a wire. Traditional carnival activities are in store for visitors to play games, win prizes, and create crafts to take home, all while learning how science applies to each activity.
Carnival Science Days are free with paid admission to the Maryland Science Center. The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. For information and tickets, visit www.marylandsciencecenter.org or call the 24-Hour Information Line at 410-685-5225.
