Grab your feathers, beads, and costumes because the National Zoo is celebrating Mardi Gras, Brazilian style. Sample traditional Brazilian food and drinks while dancing the night away to lively samba music. Be sure to take part in the silent auction, which features many fun items.

All proceeds support the Golden Lion Tamarin Conservation Program, so take advantage of this golden opportunity to help save this endangered species in its rainforest home north of Rio de Janeiro. Fun and creative attire is encouraged.
