CARMILLA'S KISS, the debut film by Pittsburgh based writer/director Michael McGovern makes it's world premiere with a huge celebration at Cefalo's restaurant and nightclub on Sept. 7.

CARMILLA'S KISS is a dark comedy about a stage director who takes his eccentric cast to a cellar to rehearse his play based on the Gothic vampire tale "Carmilla." The cellar, once an ancient place of worship, comes complete with its own sacrificial altar. During the course of the evening strange things begin to occur as inhibitions break down and tempers flare--horror becomes the night in the final moments of the movie.

The premiere will be a semi-formal affair complete with live music performances by Marla Degenhardt, Sacred Dominion (both are featured on the movie's soundtrack) and Race The Ghost. The midnight performance of Sacred Dominion will include projected images and portraits taken during the production of the film.

The evening begins at 8:00 pm with Race The Ghost taking the stage around 8:30, followed by the screening, then performances by Marla Degenhardt and Sacred Dominion.
