Carmen Consoli: Between Poetry and Song Writing September 23, 2008

The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco is honored to welcome Sicilian-born singer-songwriter Carmen Consoli for a conversation and vocal/guitar performance. Consoli will talk about her Sicilian heritage, the influences of Pier Paolo Pasolinis work as well as her recent theatrical performances of her latest CD Eva contro Eva, which enchanted audiences throughout Italy.
Time will also be left for Q&A with the audience.
The evening at the Institute is an intimate preview of Carmen Consolis concert at Bimbos 365 Club the following evening (September 24).
