Roots Music Coffeehouse presents Carla Ulbrich Saturday April 11, at the Common Ground Annex dance studio, located in the former CityCenter Dance Factory space at 345 Main St., Danbury.

New Jersey-based songwriter Carla Ulbrich's whimsical songs about topics such as Wedgies, Waffle House and Klingons are heard on numerous radio stations, including Sirius and XM radio as well as the syndicated shows "Bob and Sherrie in the Morning", "Housecalls radio show" and "The Dr. Demento Show." She has released 3 CDs on Romantic Devil Records. Carla has been a Kerrville finalist and a formal showcase artist for both SWERFA and NERFA and Falcon Ridge (as an Emerging Artists Showcase winner). Carla will soon be releasing her 5th CD, “Live From Outer Space,” recorded at XM Radio. Her great humor and her finger picking guitar style are real crowd-pleasers.

Our open mike will feature accomplished Westchester songwriter Kathleen Pemble. www.kathleenpemble.com
