Carla & Company with guest artists Jessica Marchant and Amanda Gill December 9, 2006

Dance Place founding director Carla Perlo presents uplifting modern dance for all ages. Perlo invites special guest choreographers Jessica Marchant, winner of the 2004 Metro DC Dance award for “Emerging Choreographer”, and Amanda Gill, Cuban Salsa dancer and choreographer and recent addition to the DC dance field. The performance features, Small Phrases with Big Meaning, a new work by Perlo serving as an interactive memorial for her father, Hyman Perlo. Be prepared to cry, laugh, Salsa and share your energy and ideas!
