Caribbean Concert, Calypso Rose, Mighty 602 Band April 30, 2006

Caribbean American Association of Arizona presents:
International acclaimed artist Calypso Rose will be performing in Arizona for the first time. Opening for the Trinidadian Queen of Calypso is Tucson's BATUCAXE?,a 25-piece Brazilian percussion group, and Phoenix's The Mighty 602 Reggae Band plus other invited guests. The showcase will excite, move and leave a lasting impression. Join us for a night of thought provoking lyrics, intoxicating rhythms and original reggae music that are guaranteed to make your mind race and your body move.

Evening concert admission prices are $11 advance, $16 door. A portion of proceeds will go towards CAAAZ Cultural Center Building fund, a project to host ongoing Caribbean cultural events in the Valley of the Sun.
