A Caribbean Book & Arts Fair is planned for Friday and Saturday at City Hall.
The fair will bring together 25 internationally known writers including Monica Jardine from Guyana, Carlos Moore from Cuba and Brazil, and Marcia Douglas from Jamaica.
The event will start with a lecture on the Caribbean and Afro-Latin migration experiences from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place, near Red and Hiatus roads.
On Saturday, the book fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition, there will be an art exhibition and spoken word performances.
