Carefree Kids at Omaha Children's Museum October 12, 2009

Omaha Children’s Museum is pleased to announce Carefree Kids, a special event for children with compromised immune systems and their families, on October 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. Families are welcomed free of charge on this very special evening.

The museum has worked with medical professionals so families can enjoy a clean and safe experience in the museum’s permanent exhibits including the Creative Arts Center, Charlie Campbell Science & Technology Center and Imagination Playground.

Children with compromised immune systems and their families are often limited by the risk of infection. For this reason, a trip to the park, mall or museum on an ordinary day can be dangerous. The museum will undergo an intensive cleaning in preparation for Carefree Kids. Individuals with any type of cold, flu or other symptoms are asked to refrain from attending the event.
