Plastic Acid (a Rock Orchestra) is the culmination of the creative efforts of Bryan Deans as a musical director, conductor and performer. The first Plastic Acid “Rock Orchestra” concert occurred earlier this year (May 2, 2006) and was so well received by concert-goers that two back-to-back shows were scheduled for the week before Christmas, 2006.
The premise of Plastic Acid is to showcase a full orchestra experience in a club atmosphere, and combine it with both original scores and covers. The point is to allow for a wider, more diverse audience into a symphonic world.
On December 18 and 19, 2006, the 45 piece rock orchestra will be performing: Carl Orff, Queen, Soundgarden, Beethoven and more! Live-feed videofeedback art by Trypton Media.
December 18th special guests: Hey Ocean!
December 19th special guests: the Alex Maher Band
