Capitol Hill Briefing on Kashmir June 9, 2009

The International Kashmir Federation (IKF) and HAF invite you to a Capitol Hill Briefing on Kashmir and the countries across the border on Tuesday, June 9, 1:30 - 4:30pm at the Cannon House Office Building Room 121, Washington, D.C. This briefing will discuss the geo-political implications of the current Pakistan situation on Kashmir, the plight of the Kashmiri Hindu Pandit minority population, and prospects for the future. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been invited and requested address the latest efforts in dealing with South-East Asia and the growing threat from terrorism and Talibanization. Also invited are Congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Congressman Jim McDermott (D-WA).
