The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) presents an exhibition by artist Laura Vernon-Russell opening Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The exhibit features a series of silver gelatin prints that focuses on nature and the intricacies, mysteries and energies of the Earth, and is curated by Bruce McKaig. CHAW is located at 545 7th Street SE. Admission is free for the opening reception and the exhibit, which closes on September 1, 2011. Gallery hours are: 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (M-F).
