Canton Idol - High School Prelims September 3, 2009

Canton Idol
The search has begun for the next generation of great singers. Canton Idol is searching for the best middle school and high school singers in southeastern lower Michigan. The competition will run for four consecutive evenings as we feature preliminary and final rounds in both divisions. Winners in each division will receive $500. Runners-up each receive $300 for second place and $200 for third place. Auditions and Performances at the Village Theater in Canton.

Finalists and winners will be determined each night of the competition with the audience and judges sharing an equal voice in the outcome. This event is designed to encourage young adults, so Simon Cowell has been asked to stay home. Auditions for contestants will take place on August 17 and 18, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
