Canoeing With the Stars July 1, 2011

Get away from the bright lights of the city and spend an evening looking at the night sky. For an extra added touch, we'll enjoy it from a canoe! Whether you are an expert on the stars and planets or a novice, you will still enjoy this peaceful trip on the creek. Afterwards, enjoy seeing the stars up close from telescopes provided by the Virginia Peninsula Astronomy Club, Saturdays only. One experienced canoeist required per canoe. Cost is $13/person;$8/person for a family of 4 or more. Call for reservations.
