Canoe Hike October 16, 2010

If the river conditions are calm, Interpretive Naturalist Bett Etenohan will guide you through the National Wildlife Conservation Area focusing on the outer fossil beds. Brings your own canoe or kayak or rent one from Canoe Kentucky (www.canoeky.com). The canoe hike runs from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Meet at the GRC boat ramp off of Harrison Avenue. Call 812-280-9970 the day before to get an update about river conditions and to make sure the excursion is not cancelled.
