Candied Nonsense December 7, 2012

Chaos Theory presents a final selection of original world musicians for 2012. This has been Candied Nonsense's best year by far, many thanks to all of you who've come along, performed at and supported the event.

DIFFERENT CLOTH
Brilliant singer whose unique voice, use of vibrato and smooth wails drip like honey over his acoustic blues, soul and jazz music. He's performed for us twice and has been making a name for himself over the last year in London with his fantastic sounds. His debut EP is well worth buying.

VALKANIA
A different setting for them, Valkania performed at The Jazz Market in 2010 with their Balkan folk music. Now with a different lineup, they are back to perform their upbeat music which combines Balkan instruments, scales and rhythms with western instruments, chord progressions and arrangements. We are ecstatic to have them back.

PERKELT
Originally a group of friends in the Czech Republic, PerKelt has now relocated to London and been hitting the folk scene hard with their special brand of self-dubbed "Celtic Medieval Speed Folk". Tonight with guitar, flute and vocals, they'll hit the right spots for fans of folk from around the world.

MIA SONOS
A wonderful trio featuring electronic soloist Mia Sonos. They create melancholic down-tempo music and harmonies with a variety of instruments and voices. We've been watching this project slowly develop and are really excited to see how they've come along this year.

Each act will perform two sets.

The Wilmington Arms is opposite Exmouth Market, near Angel, Kings Cross and Farringdon tubes.
