ABOUT ACS CURE
Comprised of Twin Cities young professionals who strive to improve the lives of others by raising funds for American Cancer Society (“ACS”) research, education and services addressing breast and prostate cancers. In association with Creative Black Tie and Gentlemen’s Night Out, CURE plans and promotes various philanthropic events each year, including happy hours, bowling events, golf tournaments, and in fall 2008, the inaugural annual gala. CURE formerly operated under the name "Creative Black Tie Young Professionals."

DRESS CODE
Black Tie optional. Men are asked to wear a suit or a tuxedo, while women have the options of cocktail dress or full length gown.

FOCUS ON BREAST & PROSTATE CANCER
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Minnesota, and more than half of all Minnesotans will be diagnosed with a potentially serious cancer in their lifetime. The breast and prostate are the two leading sites of new cancer in the United States, with prostate cancer comprising 25% of all new male cancer diagnoses, and breast cancer comprising 26% of all female diagnoses. It is our hope that through ACS CURE we may educate our peers about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis, and rally our collective resources and enthusiasm to combat a disease that has already touched so many of our lives.
