At first encounter one might ponder the “tell it as is” lyrics but within moments Grants passionate and often humorous songs grab hold of you and you’re hooked…he is contagious…addictive and ultimately moving…and his message will reach you…

His lyrics touch on environmental and socio-political themes, all sung with Peeples’ commanding voice with his recurrent themes of poverty, class struggle, hypocrisy and environmental ruin—there’s no tip toeing around those delicate matters, Grant will tap you on the shoulder with his songs, touch your heart and have you laughing and you will be back for more…

Butterfield’s Roadhouse is an old fashioned down to earth music venue for local and national artists, a special venue for traveling artists and performers, special events and jams.

Also, approx 40 Artists and Craftspeople showcase their works with new arrivals all the time.

Additionally a segment of the Paul Butterfield Fund and Society's (PBFS) Educational Archival Exhibit is permanently housed and displayed at The Frog and The Hummingbird Co and Butterfield’s Roadhouse

We have our free CD Library up and running, games such as checkers, chess, Uno, dominoes and cards set on on each table and Y-FI is also set up.
