Come see the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds as they headline the Duluth Airshow, September 22-23, 2012.
The largest air show in the State of Minnesota has one of the largest static displays in the midwest. The NASA education center, along with the Kids Zone are larger than ever for 2012. There is something for everyone at the Duluth Airshow.
It has been four years since the Snowbirds Aerial Demonstration Team last graced the Duluth sky with their death-defying stunts, but they are back again this fall to wow the crowds with their inverted loops and high-speed passes, all just 300 feet above the audience. The Snowbirds Team, comprised of serving members of the Canadian Forces, also performed on the Fourth of July in Minot, ND as a benefit for the flood-ravaged community.
The Snowbirds 2012 theme, “We Stand On Guard For Thee,” embodies the imperative that the Canadian Forces remains devout and ready for the defence of Canada, her people, her allies and North America at large. A Canadian icon, the Snowbirds demonstrate high levels of teamwork, excellence and discipline as they work to bring thrilling performances to the North American public.
