Canada at The New Yorker Festival October 2, 2008

The 9th Annual New Yorker Festival, a three-day congregation of writers, artists, thinkers, strategists, and performers, will include in its program several award-winning Canadians, with special conversations featuring authors Alice Munro, Malcolm Gladwell, and Adam Gopnik, as well as actor/comedian Samantha Bee. A New Yorker dance party will spotlight as special guest the Quebec-born disc jockey Ghislain Poirier.
