Intersection for the Arts and Resident Theatre Company Campo Santo present the world premiere of June In A Box, a new play with live music inspired by the song El Corrido de June Robles, which tells the tale of the real life kidnapping of 6-year-old June Robles in Arizona in the 1930's, a sensational event that gripped the nation. From the acclaimed Octavio Solis, who previously created The Ballad of Pancho and Lucy (2005) with Beth Custer and Campo Santo, June In A Box unearths this mysterious story today, as told by more than a dozen characters through memory and in song, spanning between the past and the present.
